What is Platform Shipping?

1. What is Platform Shipping?

In 4Seller, Platform Shipping refers to the fulfillment method that directly utilizes the logistics channels or shipping labels officially provided by e-commerce platforms (such as TikTok Shop, SHEIN, Temu stores, etc.). Its core requirement is that sellers must obtain the official shipping labels directly from the e-commerce platform, while remaining responsible for physically shipping out the order's items themselves.

2. Why doesn't MCF support Platform Shipping?

MCF (Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment) is a fulfillment service managed entirely by Amazon's own logistics network, which covers picking, packing, and final-mile delivery. Amazon operates on its independent shipping framework and cannot recognize or utilize official shipping labels generated by other e-commerce platforms (such as TikTok Shop).

Consequently, Easy MCF currently cannot process orders marked as Platform Shipping. Attempting to submit such orders within the system will trigger an error block.

3. How to resolve this error?

A.For Existing Orders with Errors

Once an order is generated and marked as "Platform Shipping," the fulfillment method cannot be modified on most e-commerce platforms. For these existing orders, you cannot use Amazon MCF. Please go to the platform's backend and fulfill the order by purchasing and printing the official shipping labels as required by the platform.

B.For Future Orders

To ensure future orders can be successfully submitted to Amazon MCF, you need to adjust your shop's  fulfillment settings: Log in to your e-commerce platform backend, Change the default shipping method from "Platform Shipping" to "Seller Shipping / Ship by Seller". Refer this help article to switch order type.
